What we are looking for

Impumelelo is looking for motivated student interns who are interested in gaining invaluable experience.

Depending on your interests and skill sets you will help us drive our communications and advocacy campaign to help generate awareness about Impumelelo award-winning projects and encourage their replication.

We are interested in those who have a keen interest in:

• Public Policy
• Communications
• Marketing
• Event management
• Design
• Multimedia
• Web
• Public Relations

Duties will include, updating the Impumelelo website, calling the media, assisting at Impumelelo events such as workshops, filming projects, editing video and various other tasks.

After 3 months interns will receive a certificate from Impumelelo stating that they had been an Impumelelo intern. Students will be profiled and “paid tribute to” at the awards ceremony in May 2010 at the Artscape theatre.
