Student Internships
Impumelelo successfully hosts both domestic and international interns. They include graduates and students who offer their services in various capacities such as conducting evaluations, research, marketing, public relations, journalism and administration.
With Impumelelo's national database of creative problem-solving projects, and our different programming areas, there is ample scope for aspiring graduates interested in social change to contribute in any way they choose.
Impumelelo does not offer paid internships and if you are a prospective domestic intern from outside Cape Town, we do not subsidise any traveling or accommodation costs, unless we commission you to conduct site visits.
Impumelelo requires prospective interns:
- to be proficient in English;
- to write well;
- to work independently;
- to have an interest and knowledge of current affairs; and
- to be available for at least 1 to 3 months at a time.
