Impumelelo and Delivery Magazine

Impumelelo has established a good relationship with Delivery Magazine, a magazine focused on local government. 12 000 copies of Delivery are distributed to all municipalities, provincial and national government departments and ministries, including members of parliament. Delivery has given Impumelelo award-winners, award ceremonies, and the recent 2010 Sustainability Awards launch and environmental best-practice good coverage.

• "Innovation in municipal projects" (August /October 2008), featuring 2008 municipal winners such as Star winner: Emmanuel Haven Hydroponics Project run by the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality; Platinum winner: Administrative Support for TB Programme run by the City of Cape Town together with TB Care Association; Silver winner: Amplifying Community Voices in the Makhado Municipality run by the Makhado Municipality and the University of Venda; Silver winner: Emalahleni Water.

Delivery’s June 2009 issue’s ‘What Works’ section was largely dedicated to Impumelelo’s 2009 national environmental best-practice workshop.

• "Solar solutions for safe water" (June 2009), a double-page article about 2008 Silver award-winner, Makana Meadery Beekeeping Project.
