Since the last Impumelelo HIV/ AIDS Case Study was released in 2004, considerable improvements and new approaches have been made to South African organisations' responses to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
AIDS denialism that had characterized the country's previous administration has changed, allowing for more evidence-based, rational and constructive answers to the crisis. Although certain battles have been won, the war is far from over, as the 19 successful projects featured in this second volume illustrate.
