Goals 4 Kids
Impumelelo runs the Goals 4 Kids (G4K) bursary programme on behalf of a German energy company, AGO Energie. G4K provides school bursaries for every goal Germany scored during the 2010 Fifa World Cup. After a meticulous selection process, Impumelelo identified 16 talented students for bursaries from four different high schools in Atlantis, an impoverished area approximately 65kms outside of Cape Town. Students bursaries provides for academic tuition, life skills development workshops, school uniforms and stationery throughout their schooling. A special thanks to Media24 Chairman, Ton Vosloo, for kindly donating computers to the students who now have internet connectivity in their homes.
