Poverty Impact

The demonstrable effect of the Project in improving the quality of life of poor communities and individuals.

Sustainability

The viability and sound functioning of the Project within constraints that include funding and staffing.

Replicability

The value of the Project in teaching others new ideas and good practises for poverty-reduction programmes.

Tivanani Vatsoniwa Self-Help Project

A community based self help programme for disabled adults, who produce and sell arts, crafts and furniture, in a venue provided by the province, and who share the costs of overheads and profits between the members.

Low income residents are given access to a range of financial resources to enable them to own and build housing, with ongoing support, technical assistance and advice, using the resources within the community.

Mosaic Court Support Desk

The project offers counselling to victims of domestic violence seeking legal interdicts, while at the same time assisting them with the legal process. The project is based in the court building, and uses trained volunteers.
