Mr Warren Krafchik
Mr Warren Krafchik is Deputy-Director of the International Budget Project in Washington, DC. Previously, he was the Head of the Budget Information Service at the Institute for Democracy in South Africa (IDASA). During this time, he was also responsible for conceptualising the proposal for the establishment of the Impumelelo Innovations Awards Programme. Mr Krafchik is an economist specialising in the role of parliament and civil society in the budget process, as well as macro-economic policy.
